This piece focuses on the duality of life & death. The nest not only signifies birth but also protection or better yet the illusion of safety against the vast blackness that surrounds us all. The worms continue the duality theme: standing for both decay & rebirth, helping to transform “dead” materials into life giving earth.

I’ve been very vocal about how much I like 16; I’ve been following them since their Bacteria Sour days. There’s not that many bands, that make me clench my fists & want to break things: 16 sure does.
